Mark Hamill: Mythbuster
For years, “Star Wars” fans thought that Mark Hamill had screwed up a line in “Star Wars: A New Hope.”
Following the destruction of the Death Star, Hamill, who plays Luke Skywalker, returns to Yavin IV and appears to shout “Carrie” instead of “Leia,” as in Carrie Fisher, the actor who plays Princess Leia.
Recently, a fan brought it up to Hamill on Twitter. Hamill responded that he actually said, “There she,” as in “There she is.”
Listen and decide for yourself. Honestly, I had always believed he had just yelled “HEY!”, but it seems the Jedi Master has set us all straight.
